UV-stable polyaspartic floor coatings in Kansas City. Fast-cure, scratch-resistant, hot-tire rated. Used as topcoat on every HH Next-Level install.
Polyaspartic Flooring Kansas City
Polyaspartic is a type of polyurea — a more advanced chemistry than epoxy, developed specifically to address epoxy's weaknesses: UV sensitivity, slow cure times, and limited temperature range for application. Every floor we install uses polyaspartic as the final topcoat, because it's simply the best performing protective layer available for concrete floor systems.
Epoxy alone would yellow and chalk under UV exposure within a few years — especially problematic in Kansas City garages and any space with sunlight exposure. Polyaspartic is UV-stable: the color you see on day one is the color you'll have in 10 years. It also cures significantly faster than epoxy, is more scratch-resistant, and maintains its flexibility through Kansas City's freeze-thaw temperature swings.
Some contractors sell "100% polyaspartic" systems applied directly to concrete without an epoxy base coat. While polyaspartic can be applied this way, skipping the epoxy base coat sacrifices the penetration depth and build thickness that 100% solids epoxy provides. Our system uses both: epoxy for depth and bond strength, polyaspartic for UV stability, hardness, and fast cure.

They serve different roles. Epoxy provides deep penetration and thick build as a base coat. Polyaspartic provides UV stability, fast cure, and scratch resistance as a topcoat. The best system uses both — which is what we install on every project.
Walk-on ready in 6–8 hours. Drive-on ready in 24 hours. Full chemical cure in 72 hours, though the floor can be used normally well before that.
No — unlike epoxy, polyaspartic is UV-stable and will not yellow or chalk under sunlight. The color and gloss level remain stable for the life of the floor.
