Metallic Epoxy Kansas City
Metallic epoxy is the most visually dramatic floor coating system available — liquid pigment powders suspended in polyaspartic resin, poured onto the prepared concrete surface and manipulated during installation to create flowing patterns, depth, and movement that no other flooring type can replicate. Every metallic floor is genuinely one of a kind. No two pours are ever identical.
Unlike standard flake systems where the decorative element is broadcast chips, metallic epoxy uses fine metallic pigment powders mixed into the coating itself. The installer pours the pigment-loaded resin onto the floor and uses tools, air movement, and technique to create swirling patterns, veining, cells, and depth effects as the coating is spread and manipulated before it cures.
The result is a floor that appears to have three-dimensional movement — light catches the metallic pigments differently from different angles and at different times of day, making the floor appear to shift and change as you move through the space.
We offer a wide range of metallic pigments across six collections: Whites, Grays & Metals; Golds, Browns & Earth Tones; Greens & Teals; Blues; Reds, Pinks & Purples; and Neon Pigments. Colors can be blended for custom two-tone and multi-color pours. We bring pigment samples to every estimate.

Yes — the durability of the system is determined by the prep and the polyaspartic topcoat, not the decorative element. Metallic floors receive the same diamond-ground prep and UV-stable topcoat as all our other systems.
Yes — we bring photos of completed metallic installs to every estimate. No two floors are identical, but photos give a good sense of the range of effects possible with different pigments and techniques.
Most residential metallic projects take 2 days — one day for prep and the metallic pour, one day for topcoating after the base cures. Complex multi-color pours may take an additional day.
